Well done to Aisling Judge who is the only student from Cork to have been declared a national winner in the Bank of Ireland Student Awards. Aisling was nominated for the award in the community spirit category for her work with the Chernobyl Children's Project and with the local primary schools. She was also nominated for her fundraising efforts and generosity and for her general willingness to get involved in her local community.
Aisling will attend a gala banquet in Naas on Friday 7 May when she will receive her award and will be only one of ten individuals to receive an award. Principal Sr Mary Donovan will attend, as will Mr Peter Hyde, who nominated Aisling. On the night an overall winner will be announced but Aisling has once again done herself, her family, her school and her community proud by her involvement and her achievement in winning this award.
