“Mamma Mia!” — A Super Trouper Opening Night at KCS

Kinsale Community School marked a truly memorable occasion last night as Super Trouper opened to a packed house and a triumphant reception. From the moment the curtain rose, there was a real buzz in the theatre, and the cast certainly proved they are our very own “Super Troupers.” Months of hard work and dedication paid off in a polished, energetic performance full of heart and confidence.

ABBA favourites had the audience saying “Mamma Mia!” at the talent on display, with Dancing Queen bringing sparkle and swagger to the stage and Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! leaving everyone wanting more. Even Money, Money, Money couldn’t measure the richness of talent on show, and by the time Waterloo brought the house down, the cast had well and truly won the night. The live band was outstanding, adding that extra beat and buzz to an already electric atmosphere.

It was a brilliant opening night that promises a week where KCS will shine like true “Dancing Queens” and “Super Troupers” — a great run of performances ahead that will have audiences singing along and saying “Thank You for the Music” long after the final curtain falls.
