Concern Debate at KCS

On Wednesday next 10th October our Concern Debate Team will take part in their first debate of the league phase, going head to head with Mount Saint Michael Secondary School, Rosscarbery. 5th Year students Madi Hayes, Freyja Hellebust, Emily Smith, Emily Gleave and Lucy Plant have been working with Ms Kennedy and Mr Pearse to prepare for the exciting first instalment of this nationwide competition. The debate will be hosted by KCS at 8pm on the 10th of October and we will be proposing the motion “Individuals serious about climate change must give up eating meat.” All are welcome to what is sure to be an interesting debate.
