Huge Congratulations to the 2nd Year Boys Basketball Team who were victorious last week in the Cork Regional Final against Colaiste Pobail Bheanntrai.
This was a superb game with KCS winning the match by just 4 points. The game went basket for basket for most of the second half and with 12 seconds left in the game, the captain Cameron Lovell was awarded 2 free throws after a strong drive to the basket. Cameron stepped up to make both, putting us ahead by 4 points and securing the victory for the team. There was a number of standout performances on the day but the KCS team defense was what made the difference between the two sides.
This is a huge achievement for the team as they have now won this Regional Final two years in a row.
A huge thanks to the group of supporters who travelled on the day to support the team in Neptune Stadium along with Ms ORegan, Ms Bennett and Mr Abbott.
