BIN IT Roadshow

On Friday the 10th of November, all First Year students took part in the BIN IT Roadshow Workshop. BIN IT Roadshow is an award winning educational roadshow designed to tackle the impact of anti-social littering. It helps students from 12-13 years of age to understand why it is so important to take personal responsibility for correct litter disposal.

Two members of the BIN IT team attended to deliver the workshop to our 1st year students. Students were taught how to recycle correctly and how to dispose of chewing gum properly. The content was delivered to students in a fun, interactive way that kept them all engaged and interested.

According to First Year student, Emma Murphy β€œ They taught us in a fun, interactive way that kept us all interested. It was a very fun experience and I really enjoyed it”

This engaging workshop helped support the work of the Green Schools Committee who received their Green Schools Litter Flag in 2021.
