Junior Academic Awards Assembly 2025
Kinsale Community School was filled with pride and joy as we gathered for our Junior Academic Awards Assembly 2025. The event was an opportunity to recognise the hard work, commitment, and growth of all our students as they completed an important milestone in their educational journey.
The assembly celebrated not only those who achieved outstanding Junior Cycle results, but also the collective dedication, resilience, and effort shown by every student throughout their Junior Cycle years. These formative years lay the foundation for future learning, and today was about acknowledging that shared journey.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Principal, Mr. Iggy Dineen commended the students on their achievements, both academic and personal. “Today is a celebration of learning, perseverance, and community. Every student has a story of growth and effort behind these results, and that is what truly matters,” he said.
A sincere thank you was also extended to families, teachers, and Special Needs Assistants, whose encouragement and support play a vital role in each student’s success. Education is a shared endeavour, and the morning reflected the strength of the KCS community working together to nurture excellence.
As students now look ahead to their Senior Cycle, the skills, confidence, and determination they have developed will serve them well. Today’s assembly wasn’t just about certificates and awards — it was about recognising the effort behind every achievement and celebrating the bright futures that lie ahead.
Well done to all our students. We are incredibly proud of you and look forward to seeing all that you will accomplish in the years to come.
