Parents Association

All parents and guardians in the school are automatically members of the Parents Association (PA).

The aims and objectives of the Parents Association are:

• To promote and further in any way possible the current Mission statement of Kinsale Community School, through cooperation and communication between pupils, parents, principal, vice principals and staff
• To provide a structure to receive representation from parents, and a a result to act in whatever manner may be deemed appropriate.

The Parents Association organise hospitality for school events such as the Awards Night, the Leaving Certificate Mass and the Transition Year Graduation. We are currently involved in fundraising for the new running track and all weather pitch. We also help with the school book rental scheme. 

The PA has an Annual General Meeting at the start of each academic year, at which committee members are proposed and elected. The committee of the PA is made up of parent volunteers. The committee can be contacted by email on kinsalecs.pa@gmail.com - There are 2 parent representatives on the Board of Management. These are elected at PA meetings to which all parents are invited.

The current parent representatives on the Board of Management are Chris Cronin and Liz Timmons.
