F1 in Schools Success & National Finals at Kinsale Community School
Kinsale Community School is proud to have a strong tradition of participation in the prestigious F1 in Schools competition – a global STEM challenge that inspires students to explore engineering, design, and innovation through the exciting world of Formula 1.
In 2021, our team Flat Out Racing qualified for the Irish National Final, showcasing their skill and determination. This year, we are thrilled to announce that four KCS teams have qualified for the National Final: Bosh Racing, LK Racing, Offshore Racing, and Global Racing.
In a further honour, Kinsale Community School will host the F1 in Schools National Finals on May 13th, welcoming students from across Ireland as they compete in hopes of seeing their car race to victory.
Participation in F1 in Schools offers students a rich and dynamic learning experience, developing key skills in engineering, project management, marketing, and teamwork. It also provides unique opportunities to compete at regional, national, and international levels, often paving the way to careers in engineering and related fields.
We wish the best of luck to all teams competing and look forward to hosting an inspiring day of innovation and racing at KCS!
