Outstanding Success at the VEX Robotics Regionals

Congratulations to the KCS VEX Robotics students on an outstanding and memorable day of success at the VEX Robotics Regional Competition, held on 13 January 2026 at Munster Technological University.


VEX Regionals are dynamic, hands-on STEM competitions where students design, build, and program robots to compete in a challenging annual game. Teams from across Cork gathered at MTU, all competing for a place at the national finals, creating an exciting and highly competitive atmosphere throughout the event.


The KCS VEX teams that qualified for the event excelled on the day, achieving the overall Championship title along with the Excellence and Innovate awards — a testament to their innovation, teamwork, and determination.


Team 1 – Sheer Force: Tournament Champion Award and Excellence Award
