KCS students compete in National Finals in Microsoft Office Specialist Programme

Kinsale Community School is proud to recognise the outstanding achievements of our Transition Year students in the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Programme, with several students qualifying for the Irish Finals.

As part of our innovative Transition Year Programme, students engaged with the MOS course, gaining internationally recognised certification in key Microsoft applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. The programme equipped students with valuable digital skills essential for both academic success and future careers.

We were especially proud to congratulate Claire Boyle, Eli Beare, Liam Riordan, and Mara Siefert on reaching the national finals. Mara and Eli excelled in Microsoft Word, while Liam and Claire demonstrated their expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint.

The students represented Kinsale Community School at the Irish Finals on 28th April, which took place at DreamSpace at Microsoft in Dublin. This was a fantastic achievement and a testament to their hard work, dedication, and digital proficiency.

We congratulated Mara, Eli, Liam, and Claire on their success at national level. Their achievement highlighted the strength of our Transition Year Programme and our commitment to providing students with meaningful, future-focused learning opportunities.
