Kinsale Community School proudly hosts STEM Racing National Finals
Kinsale Community School was delighted to host the STEM Racing National Finals in Kinsale this week, welcoming some of the country’s most talented and innovative young students to this exciting national competition.
The school was proudly represented by two exceptional teams — Full Throttle Racing and FEAR3GP — who competed with distinction throughout the event. Both teams demonstrated outstanding creativity, technical ability, teamwork and professionalism, showcasing the high standard of talent and dedication within our school community.
Participation in STEM Racing challenges students to apply their knowledge and skills across Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics in a practical and highly competitive environment. From engineering design and manufacturing to marketing, presentation and team management, students gained invaluable experience while competing at national level.
It was particularly encouraging to see strong student participation across all aspects of the competition, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for STEM subjects and careers among young people today.
The commitment, enthusiasm and hard work shown by all students involved were a credit to themselves, their families, their teachers and the entire Kinsale Community School community.
Congratulations and well done to all students, teachers and mentors on this fantastic achievement and memorable occasion for the school.
